Christopher Edwards (Managing Director)

Mr. Edwards joined Audubon Communities in 2010 as Managing Director, and is responsible for overseeing the asset management of all firm investments. Mr. Edwards will also assist Mr. Schwarz with acquisitions and the strategic management and oversight of the firm.

From 2007 to 2010, Mr. Edwards was a Managing Director at Privet Investments, the real estate holding company for a high net worth family, where he managed a diverse $350 million portfolio of office, multifamily and hotel assets. Previously, Mr. Edwards worked as a Vice President in the acquisitions and asset management group at Rockwood Capital Corporation and as a Vice President at Muus Asset Management, a boutique investment firm where he was responsible for sourcing and underwriting debt and equity investments. From 1998 to 2004, Mr. Edwards worked at Emmes & Company, a New York City based private real estate investment firm that specialized in repositioning distressed assets. During his time at Emmes, Mr. Edwards managed more than $1 billion of office, residential and mixed use assets. From 1996 to 1998, Mr. Edwards worked in the property management group for Hines, a national owner, operator and developer of high-end commercial properties.

Mr. Edwards received his B.S. in Finance from Fordham University in 1991 and his MBA from Columbia Business School in 1996.
